Postby pantera » Thu Oct 27, 2005 5:02 am

It seems to me it is same cfg to the singleplayer as it is for the multiplayer. So if i start to mess around with the cfg file so my onlinegaming go better so will that totally do a mess and destroy my singleplayeradventures :'( anyone who have any good advice to give me about this?

What settings might you want differently with Single and Multiplayer?

I know what you mean pantera. That is a bit annoying though... If you find a way to change it, tell me. Please.

This is alot harder then i actually expected from the beginning. I did a copy of the cfg file and renamed it. The idea was to have 1 cfg for sp and 1 for mp. So after i had copyed the cfg i started the game and writed in console exec pantera.cfg and the game did exec it. so far i thinked this gonna work. so i started change resolution and stuff the way i want in mp. then i quited the game and restarted it. The new settings i writed in the mp cfg was still there when i started the game. ok i thinked maybe i need exec back to the original cfg so i did that and no changes :'( the game writed all changes i did in the cfg in both cfg files. This i find real bad. In q3 you could have more then 1 cfg file and switch them as you like but that dont seems to work in q4. So i dont have a clue of what to do now :-[
